Traditionally, yes. But does it have to be? Gift-wrapping as we know it dates back to Victorian times when responsible consumption and climate change were hardly high on the agenda. There are many single-use items we use everyday, perhaps without considering the resources involved in their production or any alternatives available.
Inspired by Furoshiki, the Japanese art of cloth wrapping, ecoChici was conceived to provide an accessible alternative to paper wraps.
